I had some success with a webhosting company. A couple sign ups, but it wasnt really worth since I had to spend a lot.
Its hard to attract customers without spending some $$$. I had to spend a few bucks to earn a few bucks, but in the end it kind of paid off.
It's true that it cost money to make money. If you have a webhosting company offering generous features, then I don't think paid advertising will work. There are millions of webmasters online who will freely promote your webhosting company if you are generous with competent security features. It's just my opinion. - Free Advertising
